Kirti Seetharam is a language consultant and cross-cultural trainer who has lived in Germany for almost 20 years. Born in Chennai, India, Kirti spent her school and university years in different parts of that country. After completing her degree in Ancient Indian Culture and Psychology, she came to Germany where she took a degree in Translating and Interpreting for English, German and Spanish.
During this period she also gained valuable teaching experience at language schools and German universities. However, it was her work as a court translator for Tamil, English and Hindi that first confronted her with the importance of cross-cultural issues. Having worked for German companies for almost 12 years now, Kirti has a sound knowledge of corporate structures and business mentality. Her understanding of her native and adopted cultures coupled with a critical attitude to both mindsets help her prepare German companies for assignments in India.

In her capacity as language consultant and cross-cultural trainer, she has held several successful seminars in Germany on "Getting to Know India", "Cross-Cultural Training - Great Britain" and "Developing Cross-Cultural Competence" for SMS Demag, Nokia, Fibernet and Walmart.
